August 2- 5 , 2013. Nappywood Weekend Theme " I AM AFRO BEAT" will be celebrating culture, black hair, health and community in Los Angeles. The weekend is presented by International Black Hairitage as a part of the 2013 Evolution Tour and LA NAtural Hair Care Expo on Sunday August 4, 2013.
The entire weekend will feature hair styling, transitioning and various health workshops , networking & DJ parties with AFro & Natural hair Parade andd Salsa party throughout the city of Los Angeles. Guest include Queen of Afro Beat, Sandra Izsadore ( Fela) and other celebrity guest and stylist due to participate
IBHM is presenting the first Nappywood Weekend in Hollywood, Los Angeles California. Throughout the month of October we invite our global partners to celebrate the culture, history, health and economics of Black Hairitage
This October 2013 International Black Hairitage Month (IBHM) will be celebrating it's 3rd year of globally celebrations.
Throughout the month of October, people around the globe celebrate the culture, tradition and pride, healthy lifestyles and sustainable economics of the Afro community
This year's theme support the total well being of yourLove and the Total Self; Mind, Body and Spirit.
The organizers are Regina Kimbell, founder of Nappywood, International Black HAiriage Month and creator of award winning documentary film, My Nappy ROOTS was brought into the industry through media research. Partner, Gwen Allen a sales and distributor, Beauty industry consultant and CEO of Gwen Allen Productions is organizer of Nappywood weekend and both are organizing the LA Natural hair care Expo in Los Angeles with Malaika Tama-Cooper founder of the Natural hair care and 2013 Evolution Tour
